Privacy Policy
MyManifesto.ai turns your political views into a personalized profile and manifesto. To do that, we process the answers you give. If you choose to continue, we also collect your name, email, ZIP code (and optionally your phone) so we can deliver your result and stay in touch.
We keep your contact details separate from your answers — your contact record is not linked to your political responses. We do not sell your personal information. You can ask to see or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time.
1Who we are

2What we collect
- Your answers. Your responses to the assessment, including anything you write in your own words and your guided-interview exchange. These include political opinions, which are treated as sensitive information under laws like California's CPRA and the EU's GDPR.
- Contact information. When you proceed past the assessment, we collect your name, email address, and ZIP code (required) and your phone number (optional).
- Payment information. Purchases are processed by PayPal. We receive a confirmation and transaction details but never see or store your card number.
- Technical information. Standard data your browser sends automatically, used to operate and secure the site.
3How we use your information
- To generate and deliver your profile, matches, and manifesto.
- To contact you about your result and send you updates, if you've consented.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service, and to process payments.
We do not use your answers to build an advertising profile, and we do not sell your personal information.
4How your answers are processed
Your answers are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, through its commercial API to generate your result. Under Anthropic's API terms, your data is not used to train its models, and your prompts and the AI's outputs are not retained by default — though certain models require a short retention period (up to 30 days) for operational reasons. Separately, we briefly cache your generated result so we can re-display it to you without re-charging.
5How your contact details are kept
Your contact record (name, email, ZIP, optional phone) is stored separately from your assessment answers and is not linked to your political responses. In practice this means we hold a contact list and, separately, a set of answers — we don't maintain a combined file tying your identity to your political views.
6Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers that run the product, and only so they can do their job: PayPal (payments), Netlify (hosting and storage), Resend (email delivery), and Anthropic (AI processing). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information.
7Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information, opt out of marketing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email support@mckeanstrategies.com. We won't discriminate against you for doing so.
8Consent
Before we collect your contact details, we ask you to agree to this policy via an unticked checkbox. You can withdraw consent any time by contacting us or asking us to delete your data.
9Data retention
We keep your contact information until you ask us to delete it. We retain your generated result only as long as needed to deliver and re-display it to you, then remove or de-identify it when it's no longer needed for that purpose.
10Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard what you share.
11Age
MyManifesto.ai is for adults and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
12Changes
We may update this policy. We'll change the date above and, for material changes to how we use or share data, notify you where appropriate.
